We lived in New Orleans, on State Street near Audubon Zoo & Park. We took a lot of walks, rode bikes, had lots of space and the house was always airy and bright. There was a nice orange tree in the side yard. We had a lot of nice meals outside on the patio. I was working a lot- teaching ballet (until Jan 2010) at a middle school in Chalmette, teaching photography at Nicholls State (traveling to Thibodaux once a week), teaching digital media art to high school students uptown at an alternative school and in the Treme at a community center. I was doing a lot of grant writing for two non-profit arts organizations. Keeping very very busy. W was busy with a film project for HNOC/LPO. It was an exciting (and sometimes anxious) time.
